AI is changing cybersecurity around the world—from the technologies organizations are deploying to the tools security teams use and the threats they face. At the same time, cybersecurity professionals are navigating an expanding landscape of AI training, certifications, and expectations about what they need to know next.
In this interactive fireside chat, Mari Galloway will explore the current AI and cybersecurity landscape using recent research, industry data, and real-world examples. The conversation will examine how AI is being implemented, what these changes mean for cybersecurity professionals, and how to approach the growing number of AI-focused learning and certification options.
Attendees will also explore practical ways to approach AI and cybersecurity at work and at home and use the PIVOT framework to assess their current skills, identify gaps, and determine what they need to learn next.

About the Speaker
Mari Galloway is a cybersecurity executive, strategic advisor, and award-winning community leader with more than 16 years of experience helping organizations reduce risk, strengthen resilience, and build scalable security programs aligned with business goals. She is CEO of a cybersecurity consulting firm and CEO and founding board member of the Women’s Society of Cyberjutsu, a global nonprofit advancing women and girls in cybersecurity through training, mentorship, and career development. An adjunct professor, LinkedIn Learning instructor, best-selling author, and international speaker, Mari is recognized for translating complex cybersecurity and AI-related risks into practical, business-focused strategies. Her honors include the inaugural 2019 ISC2 Diversity Award and the 2023 Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award.
